Is my bottom arc too narrow?

Hello, Damien here. I'm a 22 year old male with Damon braces; clear on top, metal on the bottom. In 5 months I can see progression in my top teeth which were crowded and crooked, almost aligned but not quite yet. The bottom, however, I have seen no progression at all. My bottom arc is very narrow and not symmetrical, like an off set V. They are also kind of inverted I guess is what I would call it, So in turn my top teeth land on the outside of my bottom teeth which is where the metal brackets are so I have the blue composite bite blockers on my second to last molars on each side. Very very very annoying. I haven't been able to really enjoy a meal in 5 months because I can only chew on my back 2 teeth on each side. Will the braces alone be able to align and widen my bottom teeth or will I have to use some type of expander of even surgery? Any responses will be appreciated, thanks :)
Ps. I have an over jet and at the last adjustment 2 weeks ago (adjustments every 7 weeks) I am currently using class 2 elastics.
