Can I chew gum with braces?

After getting braces, do you think I can still chew gum? Should I stop doing it? What can happen to the braces?

Yeah you can but you should not!
most gums contain sugar.
if you pick one teeth friendly gum that doesnt contain sugar well still it can easily stick to your braces ..
but sometimes i actually chew gum(sugar free) after that i brush my teeth at least 2 minutes with care (you should look how to brush teeth with braces) than i use  Interdental Brush to clean all braces after that i mouthwash its all you can do to keep it clean(you can use floss but gum wont stick to gums)
