Does dental insurance work with payment plans?

Will dental insurance pay the rest of a payment plan? Say, your braces are in for 12 months, you have already paid for 6 months through a payment plan. And then your insurance kicks in. Does dental insurance usually finish paying off your payment plan in this case?

You cannot use your dental insurance and your dental savings plan for the this type of procedure, in accordance with insurance policy rules. Your dentist can, however, help you to coordinate treatment using both your savings and insurance plans.
