I got Rubber / Elastic bands for midline correction, is misaligned bite and slight jaw pain, and stuffy nose normal??

I got rubber bands, its been 2 days. I have braces for 7 months. My teeth are almost ready. But they need midline correction. And i have bands from top right canine to the left bottom canine. And its only been 2 days, and my jaw is slightly hurting, but the main problem is my bite is totally messed up, If i try to close my bite the way my rubber band is pulling/pushing the jaws, then its a totally misaligned bite. How can I even chew like this! It shows gaps on both sides. Even though I had midline error, I still had a comfortable bite. I want to know if this is normal, and after midline correction, will the dentist work on how I can have a closed and proper bite? So how long would that take?

And I am experiencing stuffy/blocked nose. even though i dont have a cold or anything, its just there. I am pretty sure its cause of the bands. Can you tell me why? I did not have any surgery. Is it normal?

If massaging the jaw helped, i'd wonder about TMJ( Invisalign M√ľnchen) . There are specialists that focus on this diagnosis yes, time to see your doctor and ask for a referral to your local TMJ specialist
